Job Title: Remodeling Technician Training Manager

Pay Rate: $23.25 – $26.75 per hour

Location: Southern Indiana & Greater Louisville Area

Jones Jackson Quality Contractors is seeking an experienced and dedicated Remodeling Technician Training Manager to oversee, mentor, and elevate our field technician team. In this role, you will design hands-on training programs, enforce quality control across active residential project sites, and ensure our trade technicians consistently uphold our standards for safety, efficiency, and craftsmanship.

Training & Development: Design and implement structured, hands-on training programs to onboard new remodeling technicians and upskill existing field staff.

Quality Control & Inspections: Conduct regular job-site audits to verify that drywall, custom carpentry, flooring, painting, and general remodeling work meet company standards.

Safety & Compliance: Enforce job-site safety rules, proper tool usage, and strict compliance with local building codes.

Mentorship & Team Leadership: Provide ongoing coaching, clear feedback, and daily support to technicians to increase field efficiency and eliminate rework.

Standard Operating Procedures: Help build and maintain standard operating procedure (SOP) manuals for project workflows, material handling, and site prep/cleanup.

Trade Experience: Proven background in residential remodeling, including drywall, carpentry, trim, painting, and surface prep.

Leadership Skills: Strong communication, coaching, and team-building abilities with a track record of mentoring trade workers.

Quality Focus: Strong attention to detail and the ability to evaluate field performance objectively to deliver constructive feedback.

Tools & Transport: Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ownership of standard trade hand tools.
